Over 300 years after Boston Light first guided ships to the shore, the city welcomes the Oculus. The nine-meter-tall installation now illuminates the Seaport Science Center lobby, designed by CBT Boston for BioMed Realty, reflecting Boston’s maritime past.
“I drew inspiration from the lighthouse, a crucial navigational aid for sailors. The ocean’s glint is reflected in the glass craftsmanship, enhanced with organic bubbles,” says Stefan Mihailovic.
The Oculus effortlessly blends into the Seaport Science Center’s redesigned lobby and its modern aesthetic.Made of 468 fused glass rectangles, the Oculus features dynamic lighting in each frame, creating an ever-changing display of colors and animations through advanced engineering.
The Cloud Dance at Crowne Plaza Quanzhou, designed by Lasvit’s Štěpán Gudev in collaboration with HBA HK, reflects the serene beauty of clouds, bringing the sky indoors. The hand-blown, dynamically lit glass elements create a mesmerizing flow that mirrors the ever-changing dance of clouds.
A new addition to Riyadh’s bustling hospitality scene, the St. Regis Riyadh features Lasvit in dialogue with Kristina Zanic’s interiors. Together with Lasvit’s Martin Gallo contributing a striking centerpiece titled Dance of the Desert Dunes in the grand entrance. The chandeliers, both dynamic and interactive, adjust their lighting effects in harmony with the wind’s strength, creating a truly immersive experience.
“I wanted to create a dynamic dance of light, fluttering like a veil over the desert dunes. The lighting patterns change depending on wind conditions,” says Martin Gallo.
Kristina Zanic Consultants also designed the interiors of the St. Regis Riyadh hotel restaurant, featuring Lasvit’s striking pieces: a glossy interior sculpture paired with a custom artwork depicting a life-sized, spiky red tree.
“Drawing from the primal power of megaliths—those ancient, roughly hewn stones used by early civilizations for sacred and celestial purposes—I sought to create a piece that invites stillness and gathering. It serves as a visual anchor, defining the heart of any space it inhabits,” says Katarína Kudějová Fulínová
The hotel building is crafted from the stone of the ancient Tuwaiq mountain ridge, known for its sharp rocky cliffs that literally resemble the edge of the world. Located near the diplomatic quarter in central Riyadh, it is the very first St. Regis in Saudi Arabia.
The North Tampa Commercial Development in Florida, designed by Gensler, features the Felix Stella lighting installation designed and handcrafted by Lasvit. Each unique piece conceals an internal LED module, creating a striking, star-like effect.
“At a certain moment and place, the universe brings interstellar dust together, and a star is born. It pulses with energy, shining brightly with a power beyond this world,” says Jana Růžičková.
The dynamic lighting effect features pre-set scenarios where light moves through the installation. At times resembling fireflies, at others a pulsing glow, the glass star captivates visitors, reminding them of the endless beauty of space itself.
Situated in the Agung Sedayu’s District 8, The Langham Jakarta is the perfect gateway to the city’s top attractions. Together with Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart (SRSS & Associates) from Singapore, Lasvit designer Jana Růžičková created the Haven installation that complements the other curated art works within the hotel and is evokative of a butterfly pond.

Bold and elegant, this bespoke crystal divider ushers the guests of The Four Seasons Hong Kong into The Gallery, the transformed lobby café. Our installation, designed in collaboration with the team behind the AB Concept interior, offers much-needed privacy while serving as a radiant, standout feature.
At Riyadh’s Mandarin Oriental, with interiors by Tihany Design, a large scale Lasvit installation adorns the hotel lobby, blending modern elegance with Saudi Arabia’s glassmaking tradition. Inspired by mosque stained glass and Arabian lanterns, the 25-meter-tall centerpiece consists of 1,075 hand-made glass elements.
Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW), with lighting consultancy by Electrolight, has unveiled One Sydney Harbour near the iconic Opera House, featuring Cloud of Light—a serene installation by Lasvit’s Štěpán Gudev. Drawing from the soft contours of clouds and fluidity of movement, this custom lighting piece floats effortlessly, diffusing a gentle, ambient glow that fills the space with a calm, understated beauty.
Each element has its own light source. Dynamically lit, the installation features individual control for motion and white light effects. 100-year-old olive trees. Sky-high ceilings. Complementing the ring-shaped light fixtures in the hallway, Jana Růžičková crafted a bespoke ceiling light for the 12-seater indoor luxe dining room, designed by the G.A Group.
“Horizontal metal branches with hand-blown, cut glass cylinders evoking a jewelry-like elegance that captures the sensation of light beams filtering through a tree canopy,” says Jana Růžičková.
Another radiant light fixture now adorns the penthouse’s marble bathroom, to be enjoyed alongside the carefully curated amenities by Hermès.
