The installation pays homage to the Greek landscape, culture, and the symbolic olive tree, which is deeply rooted in Greece’s history. Suspended in the atrium of the King George Hotel, just steps away from central Athens, it forms a three-dimensional, colorful image inspired by olive leaves, whose shape defines the core elements of the composition.
Each glass leaf is meticulously shaped and tinted, creating a dynamic interplay of light and color. The colors shift from floor to floor, reflecting different moods and emotions as the palette evolves.
This installation not only highlights the beauty of the local landscape but also the spiritual and cultural significance of the olive tree in Greek heritage.
