In the lobby of Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, Lasvit created a monumental lighting installation made of six sculptural glass trees, designed by HBA. Rising six meters high and embedded within the upscale interior design, the trees are surrounded by custom seating and positioned as natural extensions of the space.
Visitors can walk between the trunks, sit beneath the branches, and take in the details from close range. Each tree combines hand-blown crystal glass leaves with metal leaves at the base, creating a layered composition of light, texture, and material. The result is atmospheric, and built to be experienced.
Subtle, integrated fiber optic lighting runs through each branch, casting a soft glow from within. Four trees are vertically split, allowing people to pass through. The other two — with five-meter-wide trunks — stand intact as sculptural focal points, anchoring the lobby with their scale and calm presence.
Set within Riyadh’s iconic Kingdom Tower, the installation mirrors the city itself: bold, rooted, and evolving. These glass trees don’t imitate nature — they reimagine it for a new context. Crafted for closeness, interaction, and quiet awe.
