A landmark reborn. Once an iconic hotel, the newly restored Fairmont Golden Prague now stands on the Vltava riverside — where history meets design, and where Lasvit was invited to contribute its vision of contemporary glassmaking, right at home in the heart of Prague.
Upon entering the wellness area, visitors encounter a striking installation — a monumental glass wall that evokes the ever-shifting nature of water. Composed of 2,500 individually hand-cut, shaped, and fractured glass lamellas, this 17-ton glass installation captures the fluidity of water while seamlessly complementing the interior design aesthetic.
Lasvit also designed and handcrafted bespoke glass walls for 250 hotel rooms, each one a testament to artisanal precision. Made of fused glass, shaped by heat, and refined by hand, the walls embody a sense of quiet luxury and the nuanced elegance of handcraft.
