An Orient Infused Pop-Up Store Enchanted Paris at Maison&Objet

04/01/2019

The pop-up, which captured the atmosphere of the legendary long-distance train, represented a fusion of time-honored craftsmanship with the 21st century lifestyle.

“After the sparkling premiere of our glassware at Maison et Objet 2018, we are heading back to Paris – this time with pieces curated for the special occasion. With our luxurious and whimsical selection, we will serve Bohemian perfection in the atmosphere of the Orient,” said before the fair trade president and founder of LASVIT, Leon Jakimič.

LASVIT accompanied other well-known companies which were selected for their exquisite style and creativity. The Czech based manufacturer proudly presented the Crystal Rock vase designed by Arik Levy, delicate Circle glasses by Milena Kling, wood-like Yakisugi vases by Kengo Kuma, Frozen bowls by the art director of LASVIT Maxim Velčovský – and last but not least – the Otto crystal glasses by Canadian architectonic studio Yabu Pushelberg.
