Štěpán Gudev searches for solutions which are predicated not only on his research and the context of the space, but also on emotional response. In his works for Lasvit, he finds inspiration in nature and her fundamental processes, as well as in traditions of modern art and design. Apart from his work for Lasvit, he also spends time with interior design which he studied in Milan. A strong influence was also studying design with Bořek Šípek and the work in his studio which followed soon after.
