Kateřina Handlová
I find beauty in precise craftsmanship, in perfect details, and in the glass-making tradition. I am also inspired by Asian cultures, the world of haute couture, film, and science. I love glass for its unique character which brings with it numerous problems, but also a number of advantages and unique possibilities. But mostly I love it for its singular beauty, not present in any other material.
Quick Bio
Kateřina Handlová graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, and she has also actively studied at the French École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs where she focused on jewelry-making. As a designer, she has worked at Sans Souci and, as part of her internship, at the Studio Their & van Daalen in Eindhoven. Since 2016, she has been working as a designer in Dubai for Lasvit Middle East.
