Jan Plecháč is a renowned Czech designer known for his work at the intersection of product design, furniture, and interior architecture. He studied architecture at the Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague. In 2011, he co-founded the successful design duo Jan Plecháč & Henry Wielgus, which created the iconic lighting collections Neverending Glory and Hidden Light for Lasvit. In recent years, he has focused on his solo work, characterized by a minimalist aesthetic, thoughtful construction, and an emphasis on materials and craftsmanship.
