Cyril Dunděra is a young Czech furniture and interior designer based in Prague. His study at Prague’s Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design and Stockholm’s Konstfack produced many projects that have been presented at various international expositions; Milan, the Stockholm and Berlin Design Weeks or the Designblok in Prague, to name just a few. Dunděra focuses on product and furniture design – his explorations with glass, which started as experimental work, have opened some new doors for him in design. His customary range of materials includes massive wood or polished steel, as can be seen in his DOOW stool, the LOEWY rocking chair or in the MC Lounge Chair, created in collaboration with designer Matěj Janský.
