A nebula is a giant luminescent cloud in space where new stars are beginning to form. For this reason, some nebulae are called star nurseries. The domed, metalised form of the Nebula lamp has a magical way of reflecting the room around it, giving it a mysterious and otherworldy character.
Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune are one of the driving forces of Scandinavian architecture and design. Their design is imprinted on buildings and projects around the world including Japan, USA, Germany and Scandinavia. Among the award-winning examples of their practice is the K5 hotel in Tokyo, Inde/Jacobs gallery in Marfa, USA, Sfera Building culture house in Kyoto and Nobis Hotel in Stockholm. In 2021, their work was featured in a retrospective exhibition at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts and in the same year they received The Prince Eugen Medal for outstanding artistic achievement in architecture.
